Going on a city break is a pretty exciting experience – it’s a completely different kind of vacation to a beach holiday or a camping holiday – usually filled with more excitement and usually a lot livelier and action packed. There are some great cities around the world, for lots of different types of people with lots of different types of interests too. Here It’ll outline the best cities for the best city breaks out there.
New York City

There is so much to do here – from sightseeing (The Empire State Building, Times Square, Ellis Island, Statue of Liberty) to seeing a Broadway show or enjoying a big NYC Steak. The city never sleeps so you’ll be able to find something to enjoy all year round. In the summer enjoy the sunshine in Central Park or a NYC dinner cruise; in Winter wonder at the huge decorative Christmas displays. Since this city is so big, you will be able to find cheap New York hotels everywhere you go!

London is much like NYC in terms of culture – but the city offers more history and more historical activities. The city is steeped in history (The Tower of London, Tower Bridge, London Dungeons, Houses of Parliament) and also has some fantastic modern attractions too – like the London Eye, Leicester Square and the Shard (which is due to open soon). You’ll probably want to visit in summer for great weather – but the city is also beautiful in winter too (with a chance of snow). If you have extra time, take day trip to see Stonehenge from London.
Dubai
Dubai is a great city break for those who still want sun, sand and beaches – but want to have a compromise in their city break too. Dubai is a modern city with some great attractions such as the Dubai Fountains, The Burj Khalifa (tallest building in the world!) and the Dubai mall. Rome
Rome is a great city to visit if you love great weather and you love historical attractions. Historical sites are a plenty in Rome and you’ll never be short of things to see and do. You’ll want to take your camera because there are so many photo opportunities in this beautiful and ‘eternal city’ that you’ll need to snap! Just don’t forget the sun cream because Rome can get pretty hot in the summer!
Singapore
For those who like to adventure a little further afield, Singapore is a great place to visit. It often gets over look by many travellers but it truly is a wonderful place.
